Terms of Service

By accessing or using Veritas Bible (the "Service"), operated by Veritas Digital Technologies Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Veritas Bible is a Bible study application that provides Scripture reading in multiple translations, an AI-powered study assistant, note-taking, highlighting, audio playback, and related features. The Service is provided free of charge and may be updated or modified at any time.

You may create an account using Apple or Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Abuse, exploit, or misuse the AI study assistant, including generating content that is harmful, misleading, or unrelated to Bible study
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Commercially redistribute Bible text, audio, or other content obtained through the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or related systems
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation

Bible translations available in the Service are provided under license from their respective copyright holders and are subject to their terms of use. All other content, design, and code comprising the Service are the property of Veritas Digital Technologies Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create within the Service, such as notes, highlights, and saved verses. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

The AI study assistant is a tool designed to support your study of Scripture. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional theological advice, or personal discernment. AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies or errors. You should always verify AI-generated insights against Scripture and trusted theological resources.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veritas Digital Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Texas.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms within the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
